Give Timings to Students

Timed writing testing in Typist is super easy. In this section, we'll see how to give a timed writing tests to students. In particular, we'll cover:

1. How to set your defaults (e.x. the duration, pass speed and accuracy).
2. How to test the students in your class.
3. What testing looks like on the student side.

General Procedure

1. Click 'Create Test' from your grade sheet.
2. Set your parameters. You can find these on your course outline or by asking a colleague who has taught the course before.
3. Click 'Give Test' next to the students you'd like to test, or click 'Test All' to give all students a test.
